Petition to Change Energy Efficiency Utility's Customer Credit Program
The Commercial and Industrial Customer Credit Program ("Customer Credit Program") was created by the 1999 settlement agreement that also created the Energy Efficiency Utility ("EEU"). This settlement agreement was approved by the Public Service Board ("Board") in its September 30, 1999, Order in Docket 5980. Essentially, the Customer Credit Program allows commercial and industrial customers who meet certain criteria to use some of the funds they pay (or would pay) via the Energy Efficiency Charge to invest in their own cost-effective energy efficiency projects.
On March 26, 2007, International Business Machines Corporation filed a petition to change some of the terms of the Customer Credit Program. This page provides information regarding the Board's consideration of this petition.
