Implementation of Geographic Targeting
On September 25, 2006, the Public Service Board issued an
Order determining that it is
appropriate for the Energy Efficiency Utility ("EEU") to "target" a portion of
its services, initially to maximize peak capacity reductions statewide, and
ultimately to maximize energy and capacity reductions in targeted geographic
areas, which would be selected later. On January 8, 2007, the Public Service Board issued an
Order identifying four
geographic areas in which the EEU will deliver targeted energy
efficiency measures. This page tracks issues associated with the
implementation of geographic targeting.
