If you are thinking of going to college, it takes some goal setting and planning. Ideally college planning begins in 9th grade. But don't worry, even if you are a senior and have not started planning, you can still start planning for college. Some people take some time off after high school and then enter college, while others go right after graduation. If you would like to go to college, but you are worried about your grades or finances, there are strategies that your guidance counselor can help you use that will help you get into a college. This web site will help you get moving in the right direction for college planning. It is a process that involves goal setting, organization, and future directedness. The process can be enhanced through open honest communication between students, parents, and counselors. |
