Faculty


Our faculty members have two preeminent strengths: their professional preparation and their dedication. To be selected to teach at the Academy is an honor and a privilege. We have always had the luxury of a pool of candidates from which to select our teachers. Thus, our teachers have strong credentials from very good colleges and universities.

A further strength of our faculty is that many of them are alumni/ae of the Academy. They understand the Academy and its traditions quite well, having been students here for four years. Many of them left the area and the state and taught in other places before returning to the Academy. They have come back with a perspective of other places, yet with an abiding love for this place.
