Mr. Lovett joined the Academy's faculty in 1984. He currently serves as head of the English Department and as Assistant Academic Dean. Over the years, Mr. Lovett has served the Academy in numerous positions as administrator, teacher, and coach, from acting Head of School to dorm proctor. Mr. Lovett is also Director of the Advanced Placement Institute of St. Johnsbury Academy and serves as a consultant to the Advanced Placement Program of the College Board of Princeton, New Jersey.
Mr. Lovett received his B.A. degree from Providence College in 1980 and his A.M. degree in English Literature and Literature Theory from Brown University.
