A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped with our amazing new playground! The students are even more excited than usual to have recess! The playground is a result of hard work, dedication, lots of fundraising, and countless volunteers. We would especially like to recognize the efforts of UMS Kindergarten teacher Christine Anderson, and the UMS PTO. Without their hard work, our playground would never have happened. A special thank you also, to all of the following, for making a whole lot of children's dreams come true!

The Vermont Youth Strings visited Union Memorial School on Wednesday, March 30th for a very special treat. Lead by conductor, David Gusakov, these talented musicians - some not much older than their audience - made beautiful music and awed their listeners. Vermont Youth Strings is a division of Vermont Youth Orchestra Association - a non-profit educational organization "dedicated to providing young musicians with superior educational and performance experiences in orchestral music".
