Preliminary Sales Study

The Tax Department and NEMRC automated the transmission and editing of the property sales data in 2010 with the goal of making this process easier and more efficient. Sales data is sent to each municipality electronically. A sales module in the NEMRC Grand List program allows each municipality to download and edit the sales data and ultimately return it to PVR by computer. Thorough vetting of sales is crucial to an accurate & equitable study. Municipal assistance from the listers remains an integral part of the process. PVR will be providing assistance & guidance through the Help Desk and District Advisors.
