Vermont Higher Education Investment
- 32 V.S.A. § 5825a

Purpose: Encourage savings for college

Credit Amount: 10% of the first $2,500 contributed to a beneficiary's account .

Credit Limitation: Invest must be in a 529 plan administered by Vermont Student Assistance Corporation.
This is a nonrefundable credit against Vermont personal income tax.
