VTBizFile is the Vermont Department of Taxes online filing system designed for business taxpayers to file and pay their taxes electronically. You can file your Meals & Rooms, Sales & Use, Withholding, and Local Option Tax liabilities electronically. You can also review your payment history and print receipts of returns you previously filed on VTBizFile.
The first time you log on to VTBizFile you will be required to set up your account information and create a unique username and password for your account. Click on Sign up for your account today
to complete the online registration. You will need to have your Vermont account number and PIN number to complete your registration.
Password Alert - Your VTBizFile password is a unique password which you will choose. Your password can be a combination of anywhere from eight to twenty letters and numbers. Your password is case sensitive. Your password must include at least one number, one upper case letter and one special character such as #.

VTBizFile Payment Options
You can pay your taxes on VTBizFile using ACH Debit, ACH Credit or your credit card.
ACH Debit - Taxpayers who wish to use the ACH Debit payment option should
enter their banking information when completing the registration process.
Pre-registration of the banking information will take approximately one week to complete.

ACH Credit – Taxpayers who would prefer to use the ACH Credit payment option should click on Form EFT-2 below. Complete the form and fax or mail it to the Department of Taxes. Upon receipt we will review your application and once approved, we will forward to you the banking information and addendum codes
you will need to bring to your bank. Once your bank has approved you for ACH
Credit you can begin submitting your payments to the Department of Taxes.

Warehousing Feature - You can now schedule your payments!
VTBizFile offers you the option of “warehousing” your payment. You can file your return after the reporting period has closed and schedule your payment for any date up to and including the due date of your return.
Zero dollar filings
You can also use this system to file "no tax due" returns, as there is no charge for filing. |
