The unique relationship that alumni/ae and friends of the school community share with St. Johnsbury Academy only seems to be enriched with the passage of time. All of us who are associated with the outstanding institution ore keenly aware of the significant impact it has on the lives of young people as they prepare for college, future vocations, and life. Also we continue to be struck by its cherished traditions, its academic rigor and standard of excellence, the beauty of the bricks and mortar, its partnership with the community, and its exceptional faculty and administration. Therefore, it is with this great love for the Academy and pride in all that it stands for, that we have accepted with pleasure the opportunity to serve as General Chairs for this most important endeavor.
In our roles as Trustees, we visit the school often and have opportunities to speak with both faculty and students. Their sentiments and observations about the tone, atmosphere, spirit, and direction of the school are ever positive -- and their excitement over the prospects for the school's growth as a result of the capital campaign is very evident.
We are the benefactors of a rich legacy. One of the oldest traditions at the Academy is that those who have come before have provided for those who come after. Our opportunity to build on this tradition is now at hand.

As members of the school's family, we have the opportunity to turn a vision for the Academy into a reality. The success of the campaign is dependent on each and every one of us, who love the Academy and value its contributions, making a generous personal and/or business commitment. We ask that you join us in making a difference in the Academy experience by becoming a donor to this capital campaign. With your gift you are preserving and strengthening the Academy's margin of excellence as we move into the next century.
