Increasingly, the Academy recognizes the need to support programs through endowment income, as opposed to increasing tuition and fees. A major focus for the use of these new funds will be to fund arts and technology programs.
Donors may wish to make unrestricted gifts toward the campaign which the Board can then designate to endowment as required or if desired to specifically endow aspects of the Fine Arts or Information programs.
Final program plans for the proposed Center for the Arts are still under consideration. The following program desires and needs have been identified.
Establish a new dance program, both for those students with a desire to
explore dance as a means of artistic expression and for those who are
considering a career in dance. -
Create a new Artists-in-Residence program to bring regional, national, and
international artists in a wide variety of visual and performing arts
fields to present master classes, serve as adjunct faculty members, and
provide students with apprenticeship opportunities and additional exposure
to those who have made the arts their life's work.

Create an annual program of shows in the new gallery that highlight the
crucial component of artistic expression: exhibition. These shows would
feature student art and the works of various artists-in-residence.

Sponsor art study tours and concerts. Promote collaborative programs
among area elementary students, St. Johnsbury Academy students, and
faculty. Provide financial support for innovative student art projects.
