Alumni/ae, parents, friends, and community people clearly take great pride in St. Johnsbury Academy. Since its founding, the Academy has played an essential and important educational leadership role not just in St. Johnsbury, but also throughout Vermont and New England. Today, the Academy is also a global player. The school environment, which brings together students from rural Vermont and around the globe, is a paradigm of the vision of the Board, Headmaster and Faculty share for making St. Johnsbury Academy a vital educational institution for the 21st century. | |

To accomplish this vision, the Academy will need strong support and giving from all members
of its community. Alumni/ae, parents, and friends alike will be asked to make generous
gifts to the Capital Campaign to complete the creation of a 21st century campus and program.
To maximize support, pledges are sought over a three-to-five year pledge period (or over six tax years). Since no gifts or services or benefits will be given in exchange for support, all gifts will be considered totally tax deductible charitable contributions according to IRS guidelines. Procedures are set up to encourage gifts of securities and stocks, appropriate in-kind gifts (those directly related to defined project needs), and deferred or planned gifts given to enhance endowment. Opportunities relating to Named Gift Opportunities are available. |
